Fire Station #2

City of Zephyrhills

CB+A provided design services for the renovation of the original city fire station built in 1950. It had a number of additions over the years. The city of Zephyrhills was awarded $750,000 as part of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to renovate and

repair the 8,000 square foot downtown Fire station #2. The project includes the hardening of the east fire truck bays to withstand hurricane wind loads. The project also involves a remodel to the old apparatus bay into new administrative offices while creating a new entrance to the building, replacing doors and windows, new roof for

entire structure.  Additional work includes site work/HVAC/ and a new generator.
