Bay Point Middle School

Pinellas County Schools

The concept is based on a grouping of five buildings that can be arranged in various configurations around a central courtyard.  The courtyard serves as the organizer of the composition with continuous covered walks along the perimeter.  The composition is a direct reaction to the particular site on which the facility will sit.

The Student Dining / Multi-Purpose Building is one of two buildings with a high structural bay.  Particular attention was dedicated to the development of five serving queuing lines to allow for ample student flow space which has helped in the efficiency of the serving operation. Designed in association with Holmes, Hepner and Associates Architects in Tampa.
