DESCRIPTION
The Natural Science Building provides the science department a perfect balance of science labs, classrooms, lecture halls, and faculty office suites. Professors are surrounded by the latest teaching/communication technology within their large auditorium style lecture halls, accentuated by multimedia interactive lectures and distance learning capabilities.
Also featured within the building is a state of the art aerospace observation area including a retractable dome and a spacious open air observation deck. While technology allows students and faculty the opportunity to track the weather patterns via satellite connectivity, the observation area also allows them to become real-time spectators of the skies.
The observation dome element is the focal point of the Natural Science Building, providing a bridge between the building’s two wings, and highlighting a central main entry point into the building.
